I apologize for the late notice, but The Little Indians Learning Fair is going to be postponed until May 25, 2021. If your child is registering for Kindergarten, you are welcome to bring the paperwork to school and we will get the "treats" to the students. As many of you know, the United States Department of Education granted Colorado Schools a waiver for state testing for the 2020-2021 school year. This waiver allows schools to cut down the amount of required testing and only pertains to Elementary and Jr. High testing. High School testing will continue on as a normal year. Below are the required tests for this year. Elementary and Junior High 3rd, 5th, and 7th grades will be taking the CMAS English language arts tests 4th, 6th, and 8th grades will be taking the CMAS Math tests 8th grade will be taking the CMAS Science tests **Parents may choose to have their children take both the ELA and Math Assessments by filling out and turning in the included opt-in form. If the form is not returned only the required assessments listed above will be administered. High School 9th grade will be taking the PSAT 8/9 10th grade will be taking the PSAT 10 11th grade will be taking the SAT All State Testing for Sanford Schools will be completed April 13th-15th Elementary Grades 3rd-6th will be testing April 13th-15th 7th Grade will be testing April 13th 8th Grade will be testing April 13th and 14th High School Grades 9th-11th will be testing April 13th

PARENTS NIGHT! Hello, With their being some uncertainty about playing Center next Friday. We are going to do Parents’ Night tomorrow during the Sargent games. I am sorry for the inconvenience, and hope that this will work for everyone. Please let me know if here are any major concerns. With gym capacity limitation we will have to announce the kids after their game. We will still have to clear the gym after each game. Here is the schedule: 4:00pm—JV Girls—We will do Parents night for the JV Girls right after their game. 5:45—Varsity Girls—Parents Night for the Varsity Girls right after their game. 7:45—Varsity Boys—Parents Night for the Varsity Boys and JV Boys will be right after the Varsity Game • Since Sargent will only have nine players we can allow for our JV boys who are not suiting varsity to still have four tickets. I understand that this is not ideal but it seems better than waiting to see if the boys will play Center.

If you do not want to advertise your business and just want to wish the kids look luck, or share a certain message you can do that as well. All donations are greatly appreciated and will be put into the Athletic Budget. Your ad will start running this Tuesday during the Sangre games. Your ad will be played during the J.V. Varsity and Junior High Games. Each level will have a set amount of times your ad will be played. Attention Sanford Elementary Parents: If you have not already received one, you will be getting another Emergency Remote Learning Packet today. Please remember to keep these in a safe place in case we have another day in which we need to engage in remote learning. We do not have any days left in the calendar to allocate to snow days, so if we use the day as a remote learning day, we will not have to make it up.
