At Sanford School District, we believe success is about much more than test scores. While academics are important, we also want our students to graduate with the skills and qualities needed to thrive in life — communication, perseverance, problem solving, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and character.
That is why we are beginning the development of a Profile of a Graduate — a community-driven vision of what we want every Sanford graduate to know, value, and be able to do when they walk across the stage.
This process is not just about the school’s vision — it is about our community’s vision for our students and their future. We want to hear from parents, students, staff, alumni, businesses, and community members about the durable skills and characteristics that matter most.
Please take a few minutes to complete our community survey and help shape the future of Sanford Schools:

Thank you for partnering with us as we work to prepare our students not only for graduation, but for success in life.
