Message Corner
It is hard to believe that school this year is already coming to an end. What a school year this has been. In all of our schools, our kids did great things. Many qualified for state sporting events, while many others went to state level competitions for various clubs, science fair, and history fair.
I hope that your summer plans include doing things that you love. Enjoy our outdoors as much as you can. Spend time with your family doing things. The mountains are calling those that like to camp and fish, or just by sitting around doing nothing.
I wish you all a great summer break and cannot wait to see you all again in August when we come back. I hope to have some great things to talk to you about and that I want to implement to spread the word about our kids, schools, and the great things they do.

| Amazing artwork!!
At the Intermountain League Art show, Whitney McCauley, a junior from Centauri High School was selected as the best in show. Her piece, titled “The Nature of a Mother’s Love”, was a handmade ceramic piece in memory of her mother. What a beautiful and meaningful way to remember her and to give her a final resting place. Congratulations Whitney on your award, but more so, prayers to you and that beautiful piece for your late mother. You sure gave her a beautiful place!!

To the class of 2025!! CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS!! I bet you thought this day would never come. Just think, your Kindergarten graduation was just a short time ago. Through the years, you have grown into the person you are today. I encourage you to look back in time to remember where you started from to where you are today. You have learned a lot over the years. But not only in your education during school, but in life. All the successes, failures, and trying times have helped you along the way. The failures that we experience from either mistakes, not trying hard enough, or by a bad choice, all teach us something. Take all of these with you as you continue your journey in life.
Now, you will leave this chapter of your life behind and start a brand new one. Whether your plans are for college, work, a mission, or military, continue to work hard and dream big. Life is yours for the taking but it will take work. I wish I could say that it will all be easy, but it won’t. Whatever your dreams and aspirations are remember the journey that has gotten you where you are today. Reflect on your success and failures to help you. I once saw a clip of a high school student giving a speech at their graduation. This student put it perfectly, I think. We all say that we want to be a certain profession. This student’s message went further than that. Don’t ask yourself what you want to be, ask yourself, “Who do I want to be.” Become what you want to provide yourself with a living, but who do you want to become to leave your mark? Be nice to those around you. Smile at people. Hold the door open. Pay for someone’s meal but do it anonymously. Give back anytime you can. Be humble and carry grace. Be confident but not arrogant. Lead the way and take people with you. Leave your mark on this world Class of 2025. Congratulations and best wishes!!! You all make me proud!!!
