Dear Sanford Schools Community,

As you are probably aware, the number of COVID-19 cases in our county has reached an all-time high. It is our goal, to finish this school year with in-person learning.  Beginning Monday, May 10, we will once again be performing temperature checks on staff and students prior to entering the building.  We are also asking you to send your child with a mask.  The school is no longer providing masks to students as we are handing out an excessive number of masks each day.  We are also reminding parents to keep children home if they have symptoms of COVID-19.  We appreciate your assistance in keeping your school with in-person learning so many of the scheduled activities over the next three weeks can take place as planned.

Thank you for your assistance,

Kevin Edgar
