Our kindergarten class is back in the swing of things now that Christmas Break is over.  We continue to plug along with our reading.  It is awesome to see the excitement each of these kids has for being able to read.  It makes me think of the little things that I take for granted like the ability to read.  It is something most of them have been waiting for a while now.  I hope their excitement continue and grows throughout the upcoming years, and their love of reading expands. We have also been working hard on learning all about subjects and verbs.  The students have especially enjoyed being able to “act out” those action words.  In math we continue to plug along as we learn about fact families and telling time.  Our next unit will be all about money, which should be fun.  We are also excited about our upcoming celebration for the 100th day of school! The kindergartener’s continue to do great things.  Keep up the hard work kiddos!
