News from Mrs. Canty's Sixth Grade
Kieanna Salazar—6th grade:
I got first place in the soil conservation poster contest! The theme was "Forests for People, More Than You Can Imagine." On my wonderful poster I drew a picture of me planting a tree. I was planting this magnificent tree out in the forest by a large cabin. I may not be the best at drawing, but I still did a pretty good job!
Morgan Edwards—6th grade:
I drew a poster for soil conservation and got third. The theme was Forests for People, More Than You Can Imagine. I drew lots of trees and me fishing in a little stream. I also drew some mountains and a few birds too.
Thalissa Romero—6th grade:
Thalissa Romero also placed in the soil conservation poster contest. She got second place. All the sixth grade students did an excellent job on their posters!
