Dear Parents/Guardians:
It seems spring has come early, and with it we are moving into the final quarter of the 2011-2012 school year.
This also marks the beginning of the fourth quarter and a whirlwind of activity among students. April brings a number of athletic contests, extracurricular events, and the ACT assessment.
The first testing day of the ACT is scheduled for April 24th. However, students who are absent may make up the exam on May 8th. The ACT is the most common exam for entry into colleges and universities throughout the country. As you plan with your student, encourage him or her to engage in test preparation.
Please come out and enjoy the spring season at Sanford as we have a number of events scheduled. We have our spring drama production, "The Uninvited Ghost," choral concerts, our NHS Induction Ceremony, academic and athletic awards nights, commencement ceremonies, and a variety of spring sports taking place throughout the coming weeks.
It is truly a pleasure to watch our students put forth such effort and enjoy themselves in the process.
Sincerely,
Mr. Judd
