Volleyball End

The 2010-2011 volleyball season ended on a high but also low note. We finished tied for second in league, which was a major accomplishment because we have not finished this high for at least a couple of years. Second and third landed the first Districts game. Enthusiastically we traveled to Custer County for the District Tournament. We played Sargent first and encountered a heartbreaking lost. We finished one to three, bringing our season to an end. We fought hard and look forward to a strong season again next year. There is no doubt that we received some All-Conference spots, but they have not been released yet. Go big green!                                   ~Lindsey Rodriguez

Volleyball Beginning

This year‟s volleyball team is packed with talent and drive. They started off the season with a victory over La Veta in five matches on Friday, 9/2, and what an exciting time it was! On Saturday, 9/3, they headed to Ellicott and played very successfully in that tournament. They won three games and lost one. Overall, it was a great success for the girls. The senior leaders this year are: Lindsey Rodriguez, Paige McDaniel, Kylan Reynolds, Chelsea Tailleur, and Tori Mortensen. We hope to see great things from them as the sea-son progresses. Go Indian volleyball!
