2011-2012 Football

The Sanford Indians started off with a scrimmage in Granada. The Indians then proceeded forward with their season playing Fowler at home. They then played Marino and Hohne which were two of the toughest teams in the state. The Indians then played some league teams such as Sierra Grande, Antonito, South Park, Sangre De Cristo, and La Veta. Sanford came out league champions and advanced  to play-offs. For Sanford’s first game in the play-offs, they matched up against Plateau Valley and came away with the victory. Sanford went ahead and proceeded to the sweet 16 where they played Walsh.
